TWINSAVER HONOURS REAL WOMEN WITH REAL STORIES AHEAD OF WOMEN’S MONTH.

Twinsaver, a popular household brand and voted South Africa’s favourite toilet paper brand*, has launched their #CelebrateWomen campaign with the objective of celebrating strong, courageous and inspirational women.

The new Twinsaver special edition Twin Ply toilet paper packaging has been specially designed to highlight breast cancer awareness during women’s month. The special edition Floral Fresh pack has a lightly scented pink core, designed to gently release a fresh fragrance. The brand is South African and represents the confidence shown by 18 inspiring women.

Stacey Cohen, one of our heroines featured on Twinsaver’s special edition Twin Ply pack, has shared her story we believe will resonate with and inspire women and we would like to share it with you for a possible feature or Q&A.

Stacey Cohen, mother of 2, was diagnosed with stage three cancer at 36 years of age. Stacey underwent chemotherapy for several months, a course of radiation for 6 weeks, and a double mastectomy. She has subsequently undergone several operations and one must ask, how did she cope with so much? Stacey had a lot of love and support from friends and family, which played a big role in her life.

Every day, she continued with her gym and running routine whilst undergoing her chemo and radiation treatments, proving her determination to not let anything get her down.

“It’s the small things that make me appreciate each day I am happiest when I spend an afternoon at home with my family in my garden.”

Since her experience, Stacey counsels women who are experiencing the same difficulties she experienced. Stacey is also in the process of writing a book with author Shani Krebs, to document her journey and inspire other women who face all sorts of life challenges.

“I have learnt that life is so precious – don’t sweat the small stuff.”

To follow the journey of some of these inspirational women, follow the #CelebrateWomen hashtag or visit the Twinsaver FACEBOOK and WEBSITE.
